have you read eat, pray, love?
I'm reading it now, why?
i LOVE it and recognize myself in so much of it.
i need to learn those same lessons
yes, it seems like a universal theme
if you want to learn, and ask, a teacher (opportunity) arises, right?
i would hope so.
i would like to start with the meditation...
your children are there to teach you...in reflecting where you are...
then we are all in big trouble.
meditation is good...it's not a grandiose thing though.. just breathing.
LOL, what do u mean big trouble?
i feel like i need to control my crazy thoughts...to calm down.
that's the first awareness... to recognize that our subconscious mind creates our reality.
so you're there, girl!
it's so exciting that our collective consciousness is evolving at a rapid rate:-) so awesome!
well there is that...
my subconscious is really good at letting me distract myself from doing the things i really ne0e
need to be taking care of...
our daily stuff that i will just let go and ignore...or play back here on the computer, read...none of it getting the work done or being w/the kids..
set aside time to be on the computer, time to indulge in yourself. If u know that at a certain time, you'll be on the computer, then you won't be as tempted to go on when the boys seem occupied, etc.
that is a true statement. and a good point.
what are some things that give you extra boost every day?
i know that for me if I go on w/the day without taking care of my girlie needs, then I don't have as much energy to keep up.
when i shower, i dry brush to detox, use a special handmade soap (with nice smell that I love), then have a cup of tea w/ all the fixings:-)
I focus on my needs first, read my affirmations on my mirror...
you know, i most days there is no me.
one big lesson that i learned is that no one's going to save me and no one's going to give me a medal for sacrificing and looking like crap...
only i can give self-love and then i feel better to give to my family.
I've totally been there. thinking that if I have the day more organized, planned things for the boys, then it'll work out better...
it's when i started to nourish myself, physical, mental, spiritual, things got better.

the more you make yourself happy, the easier things will get. it's a hard one for us mamas...
it's the how to start that journey that i am missing...
how about just finding one thing to make u feel good and start now? the journey starts with one decision.
thank you Melody.
you're welcome; hope it's helpful.I know, u just wanted waldorf activity idea.LOL
well that's how it started out...you know how things go though...
we don't give permission to ourselves to change, to grow, to make mistakes. Be good to yourself...it all starts from there.
those are some hard things to overcome.
Ha ha, you're so right. I work on it everyday:-)
well i will tell you that you seem to have it all figured out.
it's amazing that almost all of our "problems" stem from that issue...us not feeling loved.
thanks, learning everyday.
hmm that is a profound thought.
no one can help us though, we have to feel the love within us. I'm now realizing that my job as a parent is not to help my child feel better, but to help him to know that he has the power to make himself feel better. I'll guide him but it ultimately comes from himself.
wow. so how does one do that if you are lacking that ability in your own self?
same goes with my hubby. it's kind of freeing.
so yes, u want to work on yourself, to be empowered to know that truth.
but u don't need to have everything figured out
just realizing that your children are their own spiritual beings and that they have their own purpose on this earth will free you.
i get that.
but there's lots of other stuff that gets in the way.
yeah, the other day, i was telling mason a story...
in the end, i was explaining how we're all connected..
and he said, i know mom, we're all connected, we're one. I know!
so I said, u know that already? how did u know?
he said he heard it all the time in kinder and 1st grade.
gotta love waldorf!
things get in the way and it's complicated.... that's how we view things, yeah, but it doesn't have be that way.
it's a shift in thinking but it's possible...just know that it's possible. if you want to find out how, you can learn...
i'm writing a book on law of attraction parenting:-)
i will take one pls.
I'll save you one for sure:-)you're seeking and open so
oops, just letting u know that I was just there where u are...
i thought waldorf would be the answer to everything, hence the teacher training, but when it didn't work for my family, i was so devastated. I was crying out to the universe...
i know, a bit dramatic, but it was like EPL, in her bathroom:-)
i always appreciate our talks. thank you so much, and i do appreciate that you have been there...
i know there will be a light at the end of the tunnel.
i so appreciate connecting w/you!
the light is all around you, just shift your perception.
