I got my baby swap package today! It's so much fun to get this yummy surprise package! Look at the cute little hat she knitted for the new baby! It's just so scrumptious! And the sweet little burping cloths she made! She sent all of my favorite teas (chai and green teas), lovely soaps, baby oil, baby milk bath, baby album, and even some cookies for the older boys to enjoy! Oh, and she even put together some homemade bean soups I can heat up later! How thoughtful is that? A big thank you to my surprise swap partner!!!
I've been having so much fun sharing with my Dec. Baby forum on Ravelry:-) Gotta love the Internet!
I've been busy knitting up a storm lately:-) I'm so grateful that some of my energy's back, at least my creative juice's flowing again. It was dormant for too long (at least it was too long for me).
I've been having fun making things for the new baby... Here are the patterns of the baby bootee and the Mossy Jacket, and my Ravelry notes are here. I'll be sure to put up the finished jacket real soon (maybe even in the next day or two!).
Oh, it's so gratifying to finish a new project!
I'd love to hear what you've been making lately!
Mason is finger knitting... He has his own basket of yarns. He even has his own sewing basket with needles, floss, buttons, etc. (See the tidy floss wrapped around individual holders he made out of cardboard?) Sometimes when I'm in my craft room and creating something, he comes in and works on his own projects.
Today he was finger knitting, and surprised me by making me a rather trendy necklace (if I do say so myself;-). What a lovely gift!
Oh, and he wanted to knit a hat for the new baby...in pink!!!
I'm slowly preparing for Ryker's 3rd birthday. I'm knitting him the bunny stuffie:-) I found the free pattern here a couple of years ago, and I'm happy to finally have the occasion to make it. I'm using size 7 dpn and it's a little tricky to do the ears. I'll be posting my progress!
